It offers reasonable prices. Good location with skyline views. It's easy walk to rocky's bar and restaurant with nice drinks and cocktails...
-
Close to lots restaurants, proximity to exhibition center and also blocks away from the subway
-
The location is excellent and the staff are accommodating. Manhattan district was worth staying in.
-
The location is good! 15 min walk to times square, blocks away from the subway
-
large room, comfortable beds, amazing staff. great place to stay while in new york city.
-
At the time of my stay, it was the best option for the room price. The location is generally normal, but far from Times Square, but not critical. If you go to the Jacob Javica Conference Center, the location is very good even if you go for a walk on key attractions. Metro and a large (but still half-empty) shopping center is very close, around the corner. The room is very modest, but enough for one. Everything is very budget, modest and not very new. For a budget stay in New York will do, but there are hotels and noticeably better, for this money. Next door is a very good steak house Uncle Jacks, literally on the next street. I highly recommend it.
There's no ventilation in the bathroom. You turn on the shower and whole room in condensation. like in most hotels in America, floor air conditioner, aka floor heater, works so noisy that when it turns on, ear plugs to help you.
-
the hotel was great! the staff was amazing! and the room is what we expected, not too big and not too smal. It was the NY size!
-
It was centrally located to the event I was attending and walking distance from Madison Square Garden, 5th Avenue and many shopping locales. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and accommodating.
The room was on the 9th floor and the elevator was a bit creaky, but other than that I have no complaints.
-
Location of Hotel is very good, most NYC attractions are near by. Specially very good, if you want to enjoy night life @ TimeSquare. I would mark it as "Value for Money"
-
The staff were nice & allowed us to keep our luggage at the hotel after we checked out. The rooms are super small, but we understand that is the way it is in nyc. All in all...it was a nice experience. OH...almost forgot; our T.V. did not work! But we were so busy it didn't really matter.
-
good parking possibilities relatvely quiet location
unclear, from where some overnight noise originated. (bam -- bam -- bam, in endless repetitons) Source: obviously some pipe/s in a bathroom wall.
-
Location was great and reasonable price
The pillows were lacking. They are small postage size rather than regular size. What gives? Internet was not working but assume that is post sandy.
-
The room allocated to me smelt disgusting. It had wet carpet which explained the smell. The room was not fit for occupancy The toilet overflowed when flushed, which I could only stop by turning the tap off. The over flowing toilet explained the wet carpet. NICE. I had to endure the discussing room for 2 nights after which time they moved me. All they offered me was a 15% discount for 2 nights for the sub-standard room.
-
I liked the beds they were very comfortable and i like the breakfest.
-
The little cards stating that they will provide more bed linen/bath towels if needed. The size of the bed. The television! Also, if I did check-in to the king room as a couple, the value for money for two people :). Also, on the day I left, one of the receptionist guys actually offered to flag down a taxi at the end of the road for me, and did it!
The fact that there was no launderette on site. Which is fairly normal for many hotels so it wasn't really a big deal.
